  1. I don’t agree with H. P. Lovecraft. Selfish can be defined as seeking personal gain at the expense of another. Ignoble is generally associated with “mean or without merit.” Yet, there are countless examples of people behaving in a manner that provides courageous and noble service to others. So, his theory (assertion) is disproven….
