QUOTATION: From listening comes wisdom, and from speaking, repentance.

Applying this old proverb to your personal and workplace relationships can make a huge difference in your life. Listening doesn’t just mean silently waiting your turn to speak. It means being respectful and attentive to the words, tone and context of what another person is saying. And when it is time to speak, be aware of your own words, tone and context so you don’t regret what you said or how and when you said it. — Michael Josephson

  1. okay so i got a fortune cookie telling me to listen to jesus. i thought it was a message from god telling me not to cuss anymore. my second fortune said fate loves the fearless. i thought it meant that my fate of playing outside is in my hands and if i cussed again god would not let me play outside. then hours later i forgot and said something bad. then my 3rd fortune came when i asked god to play outside and it said: ”from listening comes wisdom and from speaking comes repentance.
