M. Scott Peck said: “Once we truly know that life is difficult — once we truly understand and accept it — then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters.”
His point is that we have a much better chance of finding happiness and contentment if we abandon our unrealistic expectations that life can be trouble-free.The fact that life is not easy doesn’t mean it can’t be good or that it isn’t already good. The key is to enjoy the good times and cope with the bad knowing there will be more of both.
It’s like a roller coaster with ups and downs — enjoy the ride!
